About Me

I have been teaching guitar and ukulele in Guelph since 2019, though my earliest teaching experience dates back to high school. I am comfortable working in numerous styles of music with students of all ages. I studied classical guitar at Queen’s University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Music, and I also hold a diploma from St. Lawrence College’s Music and Digital Media program. During my time there I played in a number of bands and ensembles, ranging from pit bands to guitar quartets to jazz combos, and currently I partake in session work with various Toronto musicians.

 

If my students start rambling about the certain je-ne-sais-quoi of their favourite pop music or the epic saga of British guitar music in the 90s, I apologize for maybe doing too good of a job.
